Plant Nutrient Optimization

How can farmers increase profits while maintaining plant health and maximizing yields? This is a central question at the GADAL lab.

We focus on key questions such as:

  • What are the optimal levels of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) fertilizers for different crops?

  • What Magnesium-to-Iron ratio produces the highest yields?

  • Does plants irrigation with recycled water requires a shift in fertilizers, and if so, what should be done?

  • How can we measure heat stress in trees, and how to reduce this stress?

To address these challenges, the GADAL lab integrates historical yield data with leaf and soil measurements, applying advanced analytics to generate actionable insights for farmers.
